Walk the Talk at York

Post by Mooro »

In honour of one of the more memorable previous meetings:
Please just give Yes or No answers only (unless shown otherwise)

GK) Ryan Clarke – Will Ryan keep a clean sheet on Friday?
RB) Damien Batt –Will the final stats show that the ball was ‘possessed’ for more than 55% by either side?
LB) Andy Tonkin – Will either side get a ‘tonking’ (ie. lose by two or more goals)?
CB) Mark Creighton – Will anybody be ‘beastly’ enough to get a red card (either side)
CB) Jake Wright – Will he play the full 90 minutes?
MF) Danny Bulman – Will striker Ryan Bowman score for York?
MF) Adam Chapman (Sub: Day) – Which of the two players who left us for Newport (Chapman or Danny Rose) will play the most minutes for their current team on Friday? (Chapman/Rose/Same)
MF) Simon Clist – Will Simon Davies start?
FW) Matt Green (Sub: Potter) – will Alfie Potter, come on as a sub on Friday?
FW) Jack Midson (Sub: Deering) – Will either Midson and/or his replacement Sam Deering, score on Friday for their current clubs (just Y/N)
FW) James Constable – will Beano score….?

TB) Time of last goal (no repeats, if a tie the answer posted first will win, you can put ‘+1’ etc after 45 or 90 to denote stoppage time goals, last goal = 0 if score is 0-0)

The question that didn’t quite make it:
Will Deane Smalley be able to hit a cow’s arse with York #2 Oyebanjo?

Oh, really easy on a phone with minimal Internet

GK) No
RB) No
LB) No
CB) No
CB) Yes
MF) No
MF) Same
MF) Who? No
FW) No
FW) No
FW) No

TB) 67 can't see what others have said

Smalley badly under-rated, fans only see mistakes and are oblivious to good, particularly off the ball.

Sorry, only saw the Simon Davies query at 2.59. I was actually thinking of Scott Davies, though for some reason got it into my head that he was called Simon (though not quite sure what alternate question I'd have come up with for Clist instead).

Anyway, I decided at that stage to keep the question in, using Scott Davies as planned (not least as I'd said he would start and he wasn't so I would not gain by keeping it in).

So, with all that the final score was Hog 9, Radley/AC/Geoff/Hoglette/Sideshow all on 8, Me & OldAbs on 6

Removing the Clist question would have given Radley/Hog/Geoff/Hoglette/Sideshow all on 8, with Radley getting it on the TB....

So, I'm giving it to Hog, but if anyone wants to appeal, then you know what to do.....
