Burslem Boot

Post by Ancient Colin »

Qualifier: highest point scorers go through:

(a) will Midson start?
(b) will Constable score?
(c) will Port Vale score less than two?
(d) will Sangare play, starting or sub?

Negativity (least negative wins)

(e) how many points off a playoff place? -1 for each point out
(f) what is the difference between Ox goal difference and Chesterfield goal difference? -1 for each point out

TB - total crowd, nearest wins, no repeats, lowest wins in event of tie.

Could someone else win this, please?

Midson Y

P Off 8
GD 23

Crowd - 4602

Edit for mistype on GD (tho will now be gutted if Craig Davies gets a hattrick in a 10 goal thriller)

Could people give themselves a chance and look at the current goal difference gap between Chesterfield and Oxford? Some of you seem to be predicting 10-0 Oxford victories.

Should be Y N Y N 5, 28, 5661

Mooro and AC both get four in round one round two Mooro -8, AC -11

The Boot is Mooro's, although I await Sideshow's appeal ... my interpretation is that &quotplaying&quot means on the field, but he may have interpreted that as &quotfeaturing&quot as in on the bench. Had he gone into round two, he'd have been on -4.

My lawyers contest that question d) could also mean will Sangare play as a sub? He did, so I claim the point and thus the boot.

(d) will Sangare play, starting or sub?

That's desperate! He didn't play as a sub he sat on the bench as a sub! I guess it's a sign of the pressure at the top as the long-term leader starts to fade?

Blow him out of the water Colin!
