Whose go is it?

Predictions as they were meant to be. Or not. Whatever.

Whose go is it?

Post by admin »

Look, I know it's the close season, but someone's got to make the first post in this section. As far as I can recall, Ty Cobb is the current holder of the Boot (unless anyone knows otherwise). Fixtures come out around 22 June, I believe, so Ty has the unenviable task of the first Boot in totally unknown territory.

To get the ball rolling, I'm going to start a prediction for the first game of the season.

St Albans away.

Your go...

Torquay away.

I haven't given up hope that Wrexham or Rotherham will bite the dust.

well it's obviously going to be at home for a more awful sense 'oh god it really is this bad' as 30 away fans rattle around the north stand.

if it's away we'll just pretend pre-season's been extended by a week.

in conclusion: probably morecambe. and we won't beat them.

attendence: 4,500 ish. average home attendance 2006/07: 3,500 or so 'cos i don't believe all these declarations of undying loyalty now kassam's no longer owner.

Aldershot away, so I would have no excuse not to go.

Baboo won the trunkated boot. I think DLT who suggested the Boot should nominate the prize?

Stafford away...I've been told that one will be the true eye-opener to what league we are in.

So kind Boogie.

Well we did the Hat.

Then the Boot.

I suggest this competition is called the Y-Front, seeing as next year will be pants.

Well, finally found a list of conference sides, probably out of date (my position in the Dreamers' League was always somewhat undermined by the number of my selections that weren't even in the appropriate division). So what will be a miserable introduction to reality? How about Dagenham, away?
