Derby day dawning

Post by Kairdiff Exile »

So, after being awarded three points last night by the FA to make up for the fact that we weren't playing a club with any right to exist, we now have to prepare for a game on Saturday against one of the few teams in Div 3 whose start has been almost as bad as our own.

Have to say, I'm worried about this one. Given how vulnerable we look defensively - particularly on the wings, but through the middle too - it's impossible to see us keeping a clean sheet at the moment. Could our fine recent record against Them be about to end? Is there any realistic chance of us bringing in a decent, experienced and crucially unattached centre-half by the weekend? It all feels a bit dicey.

I thought KR kept a space open in our 22 to bring in another attacker...

On The Boot thread you can make a prediction.

Go on, be brave and have a go.

Postponed due to an outbreak of Swine flu?
