Kassam rental agreement
Does anyone know if the rental agreement with FK regarding our use of the stadium is valid outside of the traditional months of the football season?

Do you mean generally, or for COVID19?
The license fee is normally payable quarterly in advance on calendar quarters.
The license has a Force Majeure clause, which includes a national emergency, and the Force Majeure period releases the club of its obligations under the license for that period.

If anyone knows, does that mean the club won't owe any rent for this period of time, or is it still ticking up but not being paid?

As the country has been placed in a national emergency, it does mean the club won't be paying rent. Nor do they have access to the stadium.

The big question is, do we have the right in the rental agreement to play games there in the summer? If not we might be left ‘homeless’ if we need to play the remainder of our home league games in, say July.

Don’t the English Football League insist that clubs have “primacy of tenure” - ie, that if we have a fixture that the owner of the ground can’t say that something else scheduled for the venue takes precedence? Granted, this set of circumstances wasn’t what they envisaged (more that we couldn’t have had a fixture displaced by Not London Not Welsh back in the day), but it would presumably still apply.recordmeister wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 9:29 am The big question is, do we have the right in the rental agreement to play games there in the summer? There is nothing in the license preventing matches being played during the summer.recordmeister wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 9:29 am The big question is, do we have the right in the rental agreement to play games there in the summer?
