Oh dear god

A season of almost unrelenting misery, but at least we've got Gavin Whyte.

[checks twitter]

Oh.

Perhaps he thought he was in Slumdon and should run around with his willy hanging out?

Not just twitter - it’s everywhere now. Just got mentioned as the second story on BBC 6Music’s 11.30am news bulletin!

You’ve got to laugh. It could actually do Us a favour - firstly, it might cool any potential transfer interest in our best player, and it might help shine a spotlight on our HMRC woes. I see the Sun mention it in their Gavin Whyte article.

The video has made the national newspapers online sites. Total humiliation for our club yet again.

What has gone wrong at our club, it is one thing after another?

TBH this isn’t so bad. Young footballers are meant to do stupid things (once) and I don’t think there’s a suggestion he was harassing anyone

Joking aside, best thing he can do now is front up to the media, admit to a huge mistake, lesson learned, etc and admit to some of the stick he’ll be getting right now from his teammates.

I suspect the stick from his teammates will be the least of his worries! Hopefully Pompey fans won’t have heard about it ...

I’m sure it’s all in hand. As it were. Let’s just hope it doesn’t affect his performance(s)...
