Only caretaker at the moment. But they haven't thrown the baby out with the bathwater, so he's got a chance of staying in some capacity I'd have thought.

His best mate going isn't going to help his cause, there is a reasonable chance that he will be out, or the third coach if the new man brings his own team in, which they often want to do at that level.

Although if he goes on a winning run he may be manager of the champions of england of last year on a perm basis.

Be interesting to see where he ends up if he does leave.

Pellegrini seems to be the favoured candidate at the moment. Appleton way down in the betting - wonder if that'll change?
