I agree - this has enhanced my view of Oxvox's chances of success. SD is unlikely to offer his services without a good understanding of the proposed stadium deal and also provides an excellent link to the OUFC Board. Good news.

And maybe some cash too for good measure!

Well he dropped a huge hint in his very encouraging interview on RO!

I believe I said in the last post on this matter that there is someone who is always the bridesmaid and never the brid(l)e. Maybe they've just found a way of catching the bouquet...

What I don't understand about this is why did OxVox bother with that statement a couple of weeks back about hopefully agreeing the HoT by the end of the season? Why not just wait for this bit of news, which is probably more substantial, that way we could have avoided the unnecessary statements about statements back and forth with the club..

I may not have the chronology quite right on this, but I thought the OxVox statement came after the club's criticism of the time being taken on this deal? Even in light of yesterday's news, I still think it was appropriate for OxVox to respond to that at the time.

That's twice he's told DE now so he can't complain he's being left out of the loop! ;-)

Just heard that he is meeting a potential investor, for SAFC, in Monaco this weekend...

The investor?

Juan Sartori.

We may therefore, get some pointers as to whether Sartori's involvement would have been 'in the best interests of OUFC' or not.
