I was on the mzuri board and still hold a grudge about the fact I was top of the hat league when the board disappeared. Have never submitted another hat prediction.
I only look at rageonline and the oxford mail news pages these days.

On a separate note, didn't Paul Beasley's excellent fan's view write ups migrate to here after the Oxford Mail dropped the feature (or reduced his word count, I can't quite remember)?

Anyway, something similar (well it's written by fans) has reappeared.

(Almost) nods (off). I remember Mzuri, if only I could remember what I had for breakfast. What happened to Ed, our chess playing friend?

Ed (Justin) is out in Spain selling books, exposing Raymond Keene's systematic plagiarism and railing against Brexit ... understandably.

I'm glad there is no Hat League, I would have gotten that one horribly wrong.

For anyone who is unaware it is The Boot nowadays (own section below) and not The Hat!

New competitors welcome.

Any questions about how it works, ask the Bootmeister (not me).
