There's the "new boss" effect to consider, where players give a smidgen more effort in order to impress the incoming manager, and that translates a few draws into wins.
Champions is still a very real possibility - no-one is running away with the league this year, and any of the top seven putting a solid streak together will find themselves at the top. There's no reason to think that won't be us - we've survived having quite a few first teamers out of action without slipping too far behind, and when they come back we may be in a very strong position to have that streak for ourselves.
Promo or no-no?

i.e. a week is a long time in both politics and Oxford United...Snake wrote:Do you agree that the poll should be closed after 7 days, or perhaps that bit could be better worded?Hog wrote:That post could have been better worded so ...Snake wrote:The poll (though it could have been better worded) is a no brainer so I’m going for the play offs. And if it helps I’ve been to 7 Finals and never seen any of my teams lose and I’d be gutted to miss out on what has become an annual trip to Wembley. Keep the faith...
