Interesting note in the Ox Mail twitter feed from Berwick -

"No Chris Wilder here today. Apparently the #oufc boss is off watching another game somewhere in this part of the world."

The Matt Tubbs rumour is still lingering around, I don't know whether that is genuine info or false optimism.

I understood that Tubbs does not fancy a move north.

He is settled in Ferndown, Dorset by all accounts - far nicer than Rotherham!

was unsure on what thread to post this ,united are not offering a contract to matt heath ,I think this was expected after the signing of john Mullins ,also just seen liam davis has not been retained by Birmingham city

United believed to be talking with former Rotherham Utd and Chesterfield
central midfielder Mark Randall, 23.

Randall has figured in three friendly games for Bury in the past ten days.

Bury boss Kevin Blackwell however is unlikely to offer terms to former Arsenal youngster Randall.
Blackwell said that Randall gives something extra in midfield with the ball but out of possession
needs to work harder at his game.

I know most of you are not at home to read this right now, but those of us not able to get there today need something to do in the lapses in the Coventry official site text coverage, which is all I;ve found to follow the game so far:

Anyway, the rumour is finally struck off - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23477709

However, here is what Wiki says about todays triallist Ryan Williams http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Willi ... rn_1993%29

So Steve Evans now has the following strikers at New York Stadium:

Kieran Agard
Danny Hylton
Daniel Nardiello
Alex Revell
Matt Tubbs

How's he going to keep that lot happy?

Another young trialist for the dev squad played tonight against Truro - Dylan Mcglade.
Has been a scholar at Middlesboro, having been highly thought of when coming over from Ireland, for whom he has played at U17 level. Has had a couple of serious injuries though, so has been released, but seems worth a look on this:

Wonder whether this is instead of or as well as Williams?

Daily Mail and Daily Star both report that Ryan Williams is joining us on loan from Fulham - no indication yet as to how long for.
Maybe when Chris Williams makes it back to his desk from the coffee machine then he'll update the club site and let us know! :P

Ryan Williams confirmed on loan until January
Matt Heath is at Northampton on a week-to-week contract. He played two friendlies for us, before the signing of Mullins put paid to his chances of a contract.
