This article mentions a goalkeeper, Paul Whelan, released by Oxford United, playing in the youth cup world cup finals in 1997. I can't see him in the main player database, so was he a youth team player, or is it Oxford United Stars?

Paul Whelan was one of 7 lads offered two year f/t YTS placements in the summer of 1995 and a further five offered p/t places.
Of these, Todd Lumsden, Mark Stevens, ANdrew Rose, Nigel Emsden and a certain Jamie Cook were given pro deals, but Whelan wasn't.

Ryan Harrison, reported as playing for our youth, is now playing at Harare City, managed by his father Mark, presumably the same one who was assistant manager to Malcolm Shotton at Oxford United in 1999/2000 as he has managed at several southern African clubs.
