In what is perhaps another surprise move, caretaker Neil Adams is confirmed as permanent manager at Norwich

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27530377

and Neil Lennon has left Celtic, which both adds a candidate to a number of English vacancies, but could also mean another (or even someone in employ) moving north to replace him....Henrik Larsson is favourite, from Moyes, Mackay, Coyle, Steve Clarke and Paul Lambert...

Tranmere appoint Rob Edwards, with a free picture of Danny Rose tussling with him against Exeter.

Spurs are so confident of getting Mauricio Pochettino that they've already started looking for his replacement.

Which removes McMahon and moves Waddock up into the top 80 longest serving managers...

....at least it would, but with Richard Money jumping in at #26 and John Still at #40, both promoted managers move ahead of him, but while Chris Hargreaves disappears from the list from above, Darrell Clarke at Bristol was appointed a few days after GW so that our chap now sits at #81 in the revised list.

NB - I know there is an argument about time in the Conference not counting, but that would have pushed Wilder back down the list so that he would not have reached the much heralded heights of 3rd....

All happening at once:

Pochettino takes over at Spurs (and targets Lallana as first signing according to the papers)

and Bob Peeters finally moves in at Charlton

So, another new era awaits at Soton, minus manager and at least two star players, though presumably more await in the youth team....

Waddock now 80th after all

Hockaday is indeed favourite for the Leeds job.

(He's supposed to be an outstanding coach)

.....followed I should have said by Alan Irvine, who I'd noticed was unusually well up in the list compared to other jobs in the last year, and who has now accepted the role at West Brom...http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27851894

Koeman takes on the position at Southampton, leaving us with almost a full house - just Leeds to go - and with virtually all positions filled with out of work people, meaning very little knock-on cascade that we've seen in recent summers.....

BTW Serial candidate Murat Yakin has taken position at Spartak Moscow, so that's antoher one off the list...

....and does indeed get the job!

Either an inspired choice from a very clued up football man or err not

In any case we now have a full house across the 92, but for how long and who will be first to go?

It could be Hockaday himself. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27938551

I don't think many of us would have answered those questions with either a couple weeks or Gary Waddock!
