And as Uncle Ronnie returns to management, we once again have a full house - but for how long?

Sacked in the morning: Irvine added to the festive cull - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30619419

Appleton now up to 65th

Irvine and Hyppia were in place less than a month before Appleton, while Warnock was appointed only weeks afterwards...
....music to the ears for some of MAPPs less ardent followers perhaps??

Well spotted - I'd missed that one - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30642796 - Andy Hessenthaler in charge

Meanwhile:
- Chris Hughton appointed at Brighton - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30640697
- Tony Pulis at West Brom - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30648573
- and Pardew due to be confirmed today - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30652679

Pardew leaves from 4th on the longest serving list, with Appleton moving up to 63rd

and what strange circles the bookies turn....

Favourites to replace him are: Steve Mclaren (which sort of makes sense I suppose, Boro links aside) but then Tim Sherwood, John Carver, Thomas Tuchel, Remi Garde and Ally McCoist, which make up highly bizarre quintet if you ask me!

Meanwhile at Gillingham, that beacon of managerial success Dennis wise leads the pack, from Mark Yates, James Beattie and Lawrie sanchez - Beattie I can understand, but why the other three?

Neil Adams resigns as manager of Norwich City, which presumably knocks MAPP up another place. Mike Phelan in temporary charge.

leaves from 59th on the list, just three places ahead of MAPP, who now goes 61st - now ahead of a third of clubs in terms of longevity!

Pearce on the edge a Forest, maybe even 'Arry at Rangers, just wonder how much patience our board ACTUALLY have?

Peeters quickly replaced by Israeli Guy Luzon - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30777728

Remi Garde and Justin Edinburgh current favourites for the toon and the Gills respectively
