I'm finding that quite curious, this morning there was an article on the Luton website with Buckle's thoughts on the rest of the season, and tonight's match, and yet 10 hours later, and 3 hours before a match it's announced he's leaving by mutual consent due to "genuine personal circumstances"."OUFC4eva" wrote:Luton Town and Paul Buckle part company tonight.

Yes his 'genuine personal circumstances' are 'being sacked'.

CAn't help thinking that the circumstances are linked to another job somewhere....
....such as Slumdon where he already 2nd favourite (behind a return for Paulo)..along with Mike Newell, Steve Pressley & Dave Hockaday

Re: Managerial Merry-go-round
Alan Knill has taken over as interim manager at Torquay while Martin Ling on sick leave...
....which blows one theory over why Buckle left Luton
BTW after Di Canios mob quit live on Sky last night, Buckle has now moved ahead of Di Canio as favourite for the Slumdon job.

More to do with Mrs. Buckle working for ESPN football which is finishing at the end of the season and her getting a new job in the States."Mooro" wrote:http://www.lutontown.co.uk/news/article ... 66123.aspx

Dean Holdsworth has indeed been sacked tonight."OUFC4eva" wrote:I'm surprised Holdsworth lasted this long at Sincil Bank."Mooro" wrote: Oh, and David Holdsworth has been sacked at Lincoln in the Conference
What price his brother being sacked if the Shots lose at home to Torquay tomorrow night?
Re: Managerial Merry-go-round
Andy Scott is apparently 1/10 for the Aldershot job.
Re: Managerial Merry-go-round
If true, this is impressive knowledge, given that two days later not one newspaper in the luton area seems to have a clue!!"A-Ro" wrote:

Gary Waddock now favourite ahead of Westley for Luton, Jimmy floyd hasselbaink now favourite for Slumdon (obviously!)
