Former double loanee defender (five games for Us in 2000 and another six in 2003) and now very successful manager of UWIC Cardiff Met, Christian Edwards, suffers a heart attack in training. Nice bloke by all accounts - get well soon, Christian.

Well I never knew this ...

Scrolling through the story, expecting to find some sort of reference like "based in Oxford, United Kingdom", but it's actually an ex Oxford United player who is a member of Mensa. Have a guess and then read through.

Hog wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 5:35 pm John Dempster is the new manager at Mansfield who sacked Flitcroft for losing in the play-offs!

Ben Futcher also leaves his coaching role.
John Dempster sacked at Mansfield two days ago, with Graham Coughlan of Bristol Rovers expected to take over.
Seems a strange move from 4th in League 1 to 18th in Leauge 2. Is there something more to it?

Mansfield have a fair bit of money, don't they? They sacked their previous manager for not getting promoted last season, so have high expectations too.
