That £40 million would have been useful at Oxford!

I wonder how much of that was contributed by 'business partner' Methven?

Weird scenario playing out there. But what interested me in the article was the second half of it, where Leven gave his verdict on Karl Robinson from their time working together at Franchise:
Karl was fantastic with me, I don’t have a bad word to say about him. The way he plays football and deals with players, I think it’s the best option for Oxford. He will get to know the players off the field, his phone is on 24/7 and you can rely on him.

I have a lot of time for him. When I was playing at MK my wife was heavily pregnant and wasn’t too well. I played the game and went straight to the hospital to see her and two minutes later Karl was right behind me. I will never forget that.
Current players will always be polite about the manager - but ex-players (especially those working abroad) are in a different position. Very reassuring indeed to see someone who's played for KR being so positive about the man.

On the move again - Jefferson Louis (now aged 39!) signs for non-league Farnborough Town. His 37th club (and counting). Fair play to the bloke - to still be drawing a wage from football at his age is astonishing.

Well! Who knew Charlie was a semi-pro footballer whose grandfather built the Manor!

Anyone know what name he used when writing for Raging Bull?
