Ceri Evans (OUFC 1989-1991) will be helping an All-Whites player, Aaron Clapham at Canterbury United.

For those that missed this earlier in the year, he also worked as a sports psychologist for the Canadian Women's soccer team at the Olympics.

Derek Clarke, OUFC 1970-1976, gets a mention in this Canadian hockey story, but only to tell us that the Derek Clarke in the article isn't the one who played for the Us.

It was a bad weekend for former United players ...
Darren Purse was sent off for Plymouth Argyle and will miss the JPT quarter final against Oxford United if the three match suspension includes the JPT.
Lee Mansell was also red carded for Torquay United.
and in some Boris-like punning, with the heading Parker pen saves a point, Julian Alsop received his marching orders for Prestatyn. This game was featured last night in Sgorio, the Welsh language football highlights show from S4C, which has about an hour of the Welsh league, Newport and Wrexham in the Conference, finishing with 5 minutes of La Liga (also with commentary in Welsh).
