The Cumberland News and Star reports the death at 65 of Keith Skillen, who apparently once trialled with us (I guess in the early 70s), before joining Netherfield, and the then-league club Workington Reds.

Mark E'Beyer, Oxford United 2004-2006, after a season out of the game, has been persuaded to pull on his boots on again for Godmanchester Rovers of the Eastern Counties League (Premier Division) - step 5 of non-league, the Conference Premier being step 1.

Michael Duberry has now signed for Hendon and makes his league debut tomorrow. Good luck to him, he should be higher than that.

Rob Duffy, OUFC 2006-2007 (plus 1 game in 2008), signs for King's Lynn Town, according to the Great Yarmouth Mercury.

The club plays in the Northern Premier League - Premier Division, step three of the National League, the Conference Premier being step one.
