If WPL had any commercial nouse they would have signed him up on a long term deal (i.e. 6 months in his case) and it would cost peanuts and sell more season tickets to easily cover the cost of his contract.

There have not been many footballing heroes at Minchery Farm since it opened but he was one of them.

I can't believe you're being serious, but just in case:

You really think that re-signing Jefferson Louis - who has being playing well below league level for many years and clearly has a massive attitude problem - would help us sell season tickets?! If he was ever a hero it was certainly just for one day.

I'd pay to see him again, and 31 goals in 41 games at a lower level last season means he knows where the net is. All he'd need is a decent bit of service and.... Oh, hang on...

Anyway, talking of the few heroes of Minchery Farm left why did Ryan wait to get his op done once mathematical crapness for another season was confirmed?

... because, according to the article, there was a hope it would clear up at the end of the season without the need for surgery. But it didn't.

An interesting pre-season reunion for Chris Wilder, Jack Midson, and James Constable. The Cobblers travel to the Silverlake stadium for a friendly.

Would love to be a fly on the wall when the post-match hospitality session gets going amongst owners, managers and some players.
