More of a RO where are they now rather than an OUFC one: Justin - formerly Ed (and ed) - Horton has picked up a couple of mentions in Private Eye recently, including in the current issue, as a 'chess blogger' uncovering bad journalism practices in the chess world. The latest article is entitled Chequered Past, if anyone's interested (not available online except to subscribers).

Adam Murray, OUFC 2008-2010, joins Rainworth Miner's Welfare on loan. They play in the Northern Premier League Division One South at step 4 of Non-League, step 1 being the Conference Premier.

Nice piece on one of the ones that got away.....

http://gillsconnect.com/s/Gills_News_De ... _King.html

Atkins to blame for this one, I spoke to him at a reserve game and he said that he'd put a few of the youngsters into one of the last league games of the season and they'd lost which he put down to their attitude! Since then I saw King put in many MOTM performances for the reserves but there was no changing Atkin's view of him so he was offloaded to Barnet (with Danny Brown coming the other way a couple of weeks later) and the rest is history.
Brian Talbot was once full of praise for King in an interview while manager here, without knowing that he had come up through our system...

another one that left us, albeit a lot earlier - I think both he and his brother left us at 16, Eric for Leicester, Eddie for Southampton.
Eric has had a nightmare time getting clearance to come back from Turkey, off the top of my head I think it has been a year or more that he has been trying...
