Edward John Ikem Newton, born Hammersmith. Joined 3rd Division Oxford from 2nd Division Birmingham on his career`s spectacular descent, having arrived at the Blues from 1st Division Chelsea. The following season he joined 4th Division Barnet, and thence to Conference club Hayes. No idea where he went afterwards, but it certainly wasn`t upwards. 2 England Under-21 caps.
Wembley for the FA Cup final
Allianz Arena, Munich for the Champion's League final.
They [Di Matteo and Newton] have been together at West Brom, MK Dons and now Chelsea.
