Yellow Player On Iphone

Post by Roo »

I cannot get Yellow Player to work on my iPhone. Clearly I am missing something!

Do I need and app or just to log on to the oufc.co.uk page?

Help!!!!!!!

I would guess what you are missing is a full-fat browser. Mobiles tend to have cut-down browsers with no flash or silverlight, and a lot of sites require these if they have streaming media (I presume that is what you are trying to do).

For example, I have a Windows Phone 7, I can get to the Sky Go website, but I can't run any video because of missing Silverlight. Same thing with the BBC Website, I can view the site but not play any of the videos.

I would think you need to wait for a dedicated app (which I would be surprised if it didn't exist)

I think yellow player uses flash, which isn't available on the i-phone.
Get the football league app
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/football ... 20353?mt=8
and upgrade and you can watch the videos on there. a while ago the app had an interview before it was on the official site.

I was more concerned about listening to commentary online. Any clues........

Yep, it's because Yellow Player uses Flash which the iPhone doesn't support, so at the moment there's no way of getting the commentary.

The Apple fanatics will tell you that this is a Yellow Player problem, not an Apple problem. Sigh.
