It's Sunday evening and I'm still buzzing about yesterday's game. It has been years since we last performed so professionally, it was wonderful to watch such an accomplished performance. I didn't want Howarth to go off, he was brilliant on the ball and Davies is a proper footballer even if his defending isn't the best, it doesn't matter. I can't fault a single player yesterday.
When the two teams lined up and I saw the height difference I thought we would struggle but being tall doesn't make you good, Bevan in goal for one and the big blond centre back for another, he was simply awful.
I'm going to bore everyone to death about the game tomorrow.
