The Unusually Intertwined Histories of Oxford and Accrington

Hello all, just thought I'd post up a link to a new article on TBFUTH, about probably the most significant event in the club's history and the role of Accrington Stanley in it. I expect most of you are pretty familiar with the story, but you might like to re-read it anyway.

The interesting thing that I found when researching it was how few of the other clubs applying for election then have actually made it into the Football League. If Accrington Stanley hadn't resigned we could be supporting a very different kind of club right now.
