Oxford V MK...Witney V Oxford youth
Am I right in saying these two games are played at the same time this saturday?

and if you put a cat in a closed lead box, it is both dead and alive at the same time."wightyellow" wrote:If I were going, I would be at the youth match.

Not at all, as I seem to remember that we put Schrödinger's cat* and the interaction with Oxford United and quantum mechanics to bed a few years ago. Bugger me if recordmeister wants to dig it up again."Tabbernackle" wrote:This forum's getting wierder by the day!"recordmeister" wrote:and if you put a cat in a closed lead box, it is both dead and alive at the same time."wightyellow" wrote:If I were going, I would be at the youth match.
* = Google it Tabbernackle , along with how to spell 'weirder'.
Re:
That's a good question and one I'd like to know the answer to. I kind of assumed he was either dead (possible but unlikely), gone off football (even more unlikely) or was lurking under a different handle on the Internet since all our Fanzines stopped printing written copy."Boogie" wrote:You should have seen it a few years ago.
Whatever did happen to Brian of the Beech?
Another outside chance scenario is that he is still alive but too insane to contribute. Well, his stuff was certainly off-the-wall while at the same time being very readable.
Re:
If the cat was consigned to having to watch the Witney vs Oxford youth teams pre-season friendly, isn't it most likely that it would just be 'bloody furious'...?"recordmeister" wrote:and if you put a cat in a closed lead box, it is both dead and alive at the same time."wightyellow" wrote:If I were going, I would be at the youth match.

Re:
Martin would know much more about that than me. I wonder if WPL allows him to expand on anything to do with the now long dead printed Fanzine stuff? Seems fair game to me as it’s all in bygone days and nothing to do with the corporate current media conscious image of Oxford United."A-Ro" wrote:Brian from the Beech has been gone for some time now, I have just found an "I'm missing Brian" post from 2006.
It was from Snakey boy and mentions the name Brian Stoat.
