Crewe - The Not Time To Give Up Yet Hat
Crewe - The Not Time To Give Up Yet Hat
I’m going to start early as this is clearly a classic 'make or break' game and if we don’t win then it’s goodbye to the rest of the season...
Us 2 (Craddock, Constable) Them 1 (Donaldson)
Att: 6543 with 345 of Them
UE: We lose our 9th home league match of the season. Massive hailstorm. Crewe have two players sent off. We have more than 15 corners. Two players score own goals.

Ox 1 Alex 2
Constable, Miller, Moore
6789, 333
Constable scores. Unexpected as that is, what follows is James kissing his shirt badge ... but as he does so, out falls a one-way rail ticket to Wycombe. Midson grabs it and announces "I have in my hand a piece of paper signed by ..." but his stutter prevents him completing the sentence before the ref sends him off for time-wasting. A protesting Wilder invades the pitch dressed in a mankini (strangely in Sheffield United colours) and is wrestled to the ground by McLean, who is also sent off, for being Scottish. Stevie K is sent off in sympathy, Worley's bright red face causes the IAEA to take action, a helicopter dropping a ton of water on him that shines sinisterly in the half-light, the water rising above Elfie Potter but leaving Harry's head still exposed. With Oxford down to six men the game is abandonned.
