An urgent appeal

Post by oxfordjames »

Hey folks I don't normally like asking for things but have been forwarded this message by some friends from Kidderminster in the hope that people can help them out:

&quotHi everyone,

I would just like to highlight the plight of my football club and make an appeal for support whether that that is financial or even by you posting on your respective messageboards.

Our fans team are run by our supporters trust (KHIST) of which i am chairman. We recently found out that our clubs financial position wasnt as rosy as it appeared following our chairman's departure. Our club have been seeking investment since and following the latest potential investor pulling out we are in serious trouble.

We will seek board representation at our club and have been running a campaign on facebook and twitter. http://www.khist.org.uk/?p=1704

I dont expect any sympathy as we have clearly been living beyound our means as a football club but as a bunch of lads who follow their team around the country i hope that you may be able to support us.

Further details - http://www.khist.org.uk

Thanks
David Pountney

Well worth supporting in my opinion. The Kiddy supporters team are a thoroughly nice bunch of genuine football fans.
There but for the grace of God etc etc.
