I expect most fans who dress up as a crusader are doing it because of the traditional image of St George, rather than any thought about it representing the crusades.

I don't remember any complaints about Mexican fans dressing up as Incas / Aztecs.

If some get themselves a bit worked up about fans wearing crusader gear, then they must get in right state every time they see an England shirt... as it does have the arms of the great crusader, Richard I, prominently displayed.

I dunno. I'm not English. Just returned from a trip abroad and used my Norwegian passport to pass through customs.... it's nice to have a choice of which passport to travel on!

Norway is like the house on an estate that won the lottery. When everyone was putting together &quotNeighbourhood Watch&quot (The EU), Norway discovered loads of oil and currently has the 2nd highest GDP per capita in the World and is the 5th largest exporter of oil in the World. So instead of joining Neighbourhood Watch, it built massive fuck-off anti-theft devices and CCTV so it didn't have to bother going to meetings and bearing the cost of covering everyone else's security. Why share the money with some country miles and miles away when you can keep it all for yourself and build roads through mountains etc etc...?

Not a performance to be proud of but it was 2-2 for a few seconds - and had the officials not been completely fucking blind that may have changed things later in the game.

Hardly 1966 and that half-dodgy goal from Hurst as the ref and lino had only to look up at the giant screens in the stadium to see they had just denied England a goal that may well have changed the course of the game.

I watched the match on a very big screen in Swansea but left when we went 1-4 down and a group of about twenty very stupid Germans tourists (with just two German flags) started taunting the three thousand or so Welsh people in attendance. I was not tempted to join in (much) with what happened next, but hey, they started it so I hope they appreciate our NHS care tonight.
