Yep. A twenty must have dropped off. But then you have to imagine that we will have been in an automatic promotion slot for the whole season until slipping back in the last few games, to lead to a gut-wrenching disappointment in the play-offs as a narrow lead is thrown away and a penalty shoot-out turns horribly sour.

That’s because Football fans as a rule are a bunch of eternal optimists and would much rather predict a season full of success and glory. We look at life through Yellow (in our case) tinted spectacles. The ratio of these optimistic souls is about 70/30 over the gloom mongering nay sayers with their “we’re doomed, we’re doomed
