Was over in Bristol this afternoon visiting friends. Communication by text earlier this week threw in the Haldane topic. Face to face discussion today did'nt really substantiate it further. Perhaps now an each way bet.

As for Hackett - did he not play at Wembley on Sunday? If so I cant see him playing at Altrincham next year.

I only mentioned Hackett as he usually gets mentioned in the transfer rumour mill. He came on as Sub yesterday for the first game since Feb as he is out in the cold.

As for other players coming back, is that his knees I can here knocking!!!

I've heard Danny Lewis (keeper from Reddich Best keeper in BSN) and Chappers. Looking forward to a quality winger possibly a winger/striker a player who can cover both positions.

Hackett signed a new contract till the end of next season and has started a several matches this season. He won't be coming here even if we could afford to match his current contract.

I think its 23 year old winger Marcus Kelly from Rushden and 27 year old goalkeeper Ryan Clarke from Northwich.
