Robin Herd

Post by nightshiftman »

According to 5Live today, Robin Herd was named as the person behind a group who were looking to invest in Liverpool. I thought that Oxfords debts were boyond him so how come he's got the mega millions that it would take to buy into Liverpool.

My assumption is that he is being backed by people with lots of money, Eddie Jordan has been mentioned, and I expect that means that other F1 types might also be involved. I would expect that, if they are successful, then Liverpool may well be looking at relocation, because I can't see them investing those types of sums without looking for recouping a considerable amount of it, and the best way to do that is to turn Anfield into luxury flats.

Herd cut and run in September 1997 when the going got hyper-tough.

He left us in deep shit and I will never forgive him for that.I remember the
appalling letter I received from him explaining why he was quitting the club.

Liverpool should steer well clear of Herd and his cronies.

Who was that mega-rich scouser trying to buy LFC two years ago
Steve somebody? He was the chairman of a national house building company.

Steve Morgan, used to own Redrow, famous for the most expensive shag in history, got caught and cost him 100 million quid for a divorce.
