New commercial manager

And not before time. I'm prepared to give Mr Phillips a cautious thumbs up. He has, as far as I can tell, three things going for him:
1) He's not a died-in-the-wool Oxford fan, so should be reasonably objective
*) He's got at least a modicum of experience elsewhere
c) He's not the person who I thought was going to get the job and who, if appointed, would have (probably) made me go and support City.

In addition, he's someone. A real person, who might be able to do things. This is a quantum leap as far as I'm concerned.

Barry Phillips is working out his notice period. He is required to work weekends with his present employer but gets a day off in the week normally,Wednesday's. This will be the day he works for the club (FOC)
until he starts full time which will be 01/07/08.
