mmmm, what's missing - ah yes the Hat...

Naturally, I have to at least start with my favourite:
Ox 1 FGR 2
Duffy // Dodgson, Carey- Bertram
Att 6001
UE - One of the players has the wrong squad number on his kit
UE2 - The ghost of Dave Wedge appears at half time to help replace divots on the pitch.

BTW - Is it my imagination or are both the club site and Oxvox launching their own direct copy of the Hat League for this season - surely some kinda market over-saturation??
And isn't the hat league subject to copywright?

1-1
Trainer, Carey-Bertram

UE Jim plays nobody with a Portsmouth connection for the first hour. Anaclet beats someone for pace on the outside and gets a cross in afterwards.

UE. Half of the Gloucestershire support have not had a bath or a shower for 3 weeks (or is this so unusual? - certainly not in Wiltshire)

Oxford 2 (Duffy, Odubade) Forest Green 0. Attendance 5,800. Away crowd 200.

Unexpected event: my wife forgives me for going to the football on her birthday.

All over optimistic about the crowd or was it just a poor crowd?

The home attendance was only down 2.2% from last yearÔÇÖs opener against Halifax, so I reckon itÔÇÖs just us Hatters who are being over optimistic, as per usual.
