If they ‘reconsider’ their punishment of West Ham & hand them a retrospective 3pt fine per player involved, but then 'in the interests of consistency' do the same for the clubs involved in the Stevens report, the bottom of the PL would read :
Watford 28pts, Newcastle 31pts, Charlton 34pts, West Ham 35pts….
Therefore they get Sean Bean off their back, while Sir Trevor can still pop down to Upton Park without getting lynched & Big Sam can grovel around in the Championship to make sure he doesn’t upstage Stevie Mac…
