Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum
I'm with YF on this one re coughing up now to buy the current stadium and the sooner the better to avoid paying the 'million' a year for the remaining seven years although it's quite likely of course that FK will say he wants the rent for the remaining contract on top of the sale price even if 'we'...

Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum
TWO years ago Kassam made his opinions quite clear in an interview with The Oxford Mail: "Whatever I do, I want to secure the ground to the football club and not any individuals – that has always been my priority." I don't believe he will ever sell the club to an individual owner. Now, I'm...

Just heard that he is meeting a potential investor, for SAFC, in Monaco this weekend...
The investor?

Re: Who do you want next?
As Lampard seems to be the favourite, at the moment, I was wondering what his coaching qualifications are? I've done a cursory check and find mention that he started doing his badges (if they're still called that?!) last year, but can find no indication of how far he's got ..... or indeed how far he...

Re: Stadium matters
Isn't it about time that we took Kassam at his word? He has stated on several occasions that he's not willing to sell the KasStad to any 'single individual.' This isn't to say that his word is his bond, by any stretch of the imagination, or that he couldn't change his opinion if it suited his ends. ...

Re: On This Day
I remember going to that match at Watford genuinely fearing it could be the last ever OUFC game. Everyone assumed we wore Watford's kit because we couldn't afford to buy our own! Horrible performance and atmosphere. I often find I've forgotten players from previous line-ups and have to look them up...

Covered Market Club Shop
Well...... after much chicanery by the City Council it's FINALLY happened! The article below says that the shop opens (officially) on Wednesday, but it actually had a 'soft opening' today and I'm pleased to export a steady stream of visitors and paying customers. It's now up to us all to support it ...

No, most definitely NOT.

What a complete and utter James Hunt! I knew that this was going to be used to validate the competition....... and WE are complicit.

Re: Football League Trophy
Excellent comments from Eales, and very reassuring to read. Clearly the representations he has received from fans (and, I'd suggest, the boycott of the early stages) has made an impression. Full credit to him for acknowledging that the experiment for which the club voted has been a failure. If only...
Re: Boro
Did anyone else spot the referee and the Boro captain exchange a hug at the end of the game instead of a handshake?

RadOx are saying that Eales has spoken to them today and told them that he has made THREE bids to buy the stadium from Firoz, TWO of which have been rejected. He hasn't said what happened to the third bid......
