Re: Half and Half scarves

As I’ve already said on Facebook immediately after the Swans came out of the hat, I'll be sitting in the South Stand. Any more haranguing on here and you won’t get any advice from me on parking and where to drink in SA1 if the game ends in a draw! By the way, it may be a very different management se...

Re: FGR at home

Pretty much the worst possible draw. They'll probably have enough quality to beat us, and they'll bring enough fans to fill the Kassam, and that'll be it for the year. ?? Have I missed something ?? They'll probably bring a lot of fans - good, money in the coffers. That'll be it for the year - well ...

Re: FGR at home

I have to say that 'home to Eastleigh' would be very, very low down on my wishlist of FA Cup 3rd Round draws! On the other hand, a 'more straightforward' draw means a greater chance of picking up the prize money for winning a 3rd round tie and, barring a multitude of upsets, a greater chance of dra...

Re: FGR at home

So, who would you like out of the Hat on Monday night?

For me it's Man U. away and the million quid plus that comes with it, or Salford City or Whitehawk at home to maximise the chance of getting to the 4th Round.

Worst draw = Scunthorpe away.

Re: Where are they now?

Uncle Firoz does what he does, but this offers some hope of the Priory re-opening to make his new hotel more attractive.

Re: Braintree Town

Quite a bit of pressure on this one, not least on the financial side of things. Beating two non League teams at home means going into the Hat with the big fish, but no one expects a Dorchester Town type scoreline these days in the Cup.

Loved the two part documentary, and it made watching the game on the box even more satisfying.

Compare and contrast with what TAG is doing at Oxford City.

Re: Price of Football Study

Dunno about the rest of the ground but I sit in the East Stand upper, with a view to the side of the pitch. Very similar to a perch in the SSU. ‘Early Bird’ renewal of my ST was £409. All away tickets are £22 if bought early enough. Because there are 16,000 ST holders only 2,000 on the day tickets (...
