Yes, Yemi has been rubbish this season but he is still the nearest thing we've got to a hero. Our best players are probably Foster and Turley, but they aren't the kind you go along specifically to watch.

Some very charitable comments here. We weren't awful, but Cambridge were a lot better than us. We couldn't get the ball off them, and when we did we gave it straight back. I'm not sure about all these loan players. Murray and Green are good, but Hand didn't seem any better than what we have, and McC...

Oh the glamour of the premier league. Looking forward to Wigan v Boro in Trondheim, Derby v Fulham in Skopje, the marketing opportunities are endless.

It's not about being reflective and romantic. This poll shows unscientifically that people don't like the new ground. OK, so how can it be made more like one people did like, e.g. the Manor? There are some things that are actually possible, ie a fourth side, unreserved seating, more rancid hot dogs,...

It sometimes seems that voicing negative views about the ground is regarded as taboo, given all the struggles to get it built and secure our survival, so this thread is very welcome. For me the problem is that it's a boring ground - the distance from the pitch and the empty end and corners mean that...

This is the 'fashion present tense'. Related to the 'fashion singular', as in 'a lovely trouser', and the 'football perfect tense', as 'he's crossed the ball and the keeper's missed it'.

Why the fuck do we keep giving away our best players? I hope Patterson has a bloody good striker lined up for Saturday, otherwise it's Manny and Boy Scout up front, that'll scare Grays

The club have to make the East Stand sit-where-you-want - people could still have season tickets, but without a reserved seat. And build something to block off the carpark end.

I watched the game on a big-screen pub TV rather than listening to RD, and so got a good view of the players' miserable expressions and defeated body language. Most poignant image was a shot of Chris Hargreaves in the stands, looking equally downcast. God we could have done with someone like him kic...

My Exeter-supporting friend says they're after Eddie ... that would be dreadful, he's just about our only attacking threat and he's one of our own
