I don't think investing in the stadium is necessarily the same as investing in the club, seeing as the club doesn't own the stadium (or even benefit from much of it's income). After all, without the club he'd never have got to develop the Ozone. Of the 2million he's invested then, I suspect a large ...

I'd question whether loaning the club £2m (at, I presume, a better than base rate of interest) counts as actual investment the way it's being talked about here. I don't know the figures, but I suspect that after the Manor sale and after his developments around minchery farm, Kassam has made a consid...

I wasn't asked but I'm going to plough in regardless - I think the positives for Kassam, to me, are quite straighforward 1) He kept the club solvent when no-one else would 7 years ago. 2) He enabled us to have a new stadium to play in. 3) We're not enormously in debt (although £2m is considerable). ...

Re:
This will get things going. Issac, as someone who has met Kassam more times than I have met most of my cousins in the last 8 years, I have to say that I certainly don't find him 'unpleasant'. He is a man of conviction, who will never believe that he didn't do things properly for the club. Simply hi...

Cool hand Firoz maybe, but it just adds further evidence to the fact that he's a very unpleasant man. It's really quite distasteful that a chairman who claimed to support the club and want the best for it would be willing to use the club and it's league status as a pawn in a machiavellian chess game...

From memory, the season Carlisle got relegated they were bottom and a long way adrift for ages, it was only towards the end of the season that they started getting it together and that was when they deliberately signed players who they'd keep for the season after regardless of the division they were...
