Ryan Williams interview. https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk/sport/view,teenage-tears-fatherhood-and-rotherham-united-the-ryan-williams-interview_31341.htm Great to read that. I really liked him with us, we didn’t have a very exciting team and sometimes he was pretty much playing the opposition o...

Re: Sent to Coventry

We’ve won a lot of home games and not lost too many away and dont let in many, which helps. We’ve struggled to kill teams off but yes since Luton we’ve generally looked a decent mid table side, with a few blips. I think that’s Robinson’s level, we need to decide if we want that or are going to fund ...

Re: What a let down

There are so many angles you can take, aren't there? if we hadn't had a disastrous start with half the team unfit we'd be OK by now. if the players KR wanted to build the side around - Carruthers, Hall, Smith - had worked out we'd be OK now. We've actually scored a decent amount of goals, just not a...

Re: Robinson Out

Our 'goals for' is actually OK, we've scored more than Coventry and Blackpool. You could argue that our fragility at the back is a greater problem. Whichever way you look at it, we are consistently failing to benefit from good approach play and periods of dominance. We weren't terrible against Posh,...

Re: Sunderland

There’s no point sitting on the fence and being all reasonable about Brexit - it’s a very important and divisive issue with extra dimensions of class division and far right manipulation. Anyway, I disagree that a Premiership team would always be such a draw. Would people really go mad for Fulham or ...

Re: Sunderland

Not meaning to gloat over kids going hungry, obviously. But voting to leave the EU when you live in a poor area that relies on a foreign motor company for work seems foolish to me.

Re: Sunderland

I remember the footage of large men cheering aggressively at the Brexit vote. They must have a special sense of irony given that Nissan will inevitably leave and leave their area even more god forsaken

Re: January Transfer Window

Not a lot of point comparing the two, Sunderland have six times as many fans as we do. Southend are a similar size to us, did they sign players for millions? Our other peers Gillingham did get Ricky Holmes

Re: January Transfer Window

The Eeyores on here are quite extraordinary. Whoever we signed as a striker was only going to be a reserve, because Mackie was fucking awesome on Tuesday! And against Portsmouth

Re: January Transfer Window

He's a bit like Canice Carroll, young and promising but very gung-ho. We have two other right backs, let's use the money for a striker or two.

Not sure why people are being concerned about this minor bit of news rather than celebrating the fact that star forward Marcus Browne is staying!

TBH this isn’t so bad. Young footballers are meant to do stupid things (once) and I don’t think there’s a suggestion he was harassing anyone
