Re:

Isn't part of the problem that players will only be contracted until the end of the season. So we could be in a situation where the season is extended, but players are ooc? I thought they are contracted to 30 June each year. It was only under Kassam that he tried the cheapskate of shortening them. ...

Seems like Brodie was missing on the first of a 2 game suspension. Hopefully Kettering will take some points off them on Saturday as well. That amazing run of York had me worried that they would just keep getting 3 points each game until the end of the season.

I've sent the Conference an email asking for a copy of Appendix E, but don't hold out much hope of getting a positive answer . The NLP article suggests that it is Northwich, Salisbury and Farsley who are affected, so presumably it is something to do with going into administration.

Re:

People often forget, and this really annoys me, that when a company deducts tax from employees under PAYE, the comapny is paying the employee the agreed gross wages, then the employee is paying the government the taxes that are ue from the employee. The tax money never ever belongs to the business ...

Apart from Turley who has been kept out of the squad, I was surprised to see the other 7 main squad members playing apart from perhaps...

Although on a completely different scale, I think this does have parallels to our own club. WPL bought OUFC for £2m from Kassam and then charged the club interest on that £2m. (I believe they actually bought the club for £1 or so and the club repaid £2m of debt due to Kassam/ Firoka London Park fund...

I now think for the sake of the club we have to win against Chelmsford. If we lose, then a lot of people will say this ranks as one of the lowest points in recent history - comparable with losses against Tonbridge (FAT), Lewes (league), Droylsden (league). The team would probably get booed off, the ...

Re:

Poor Performance. What's wrong with us? How come we allowed Woking to create so many chances. We have no spark at present and look very ordinary. I am starting to worry. Never entered my head that Cambridge would be off because those idiots went and got a draw instead of winning or getting beaten. ...
