Re: Pride Of The West Country ?
The only disappointment was that one of the bottom four wasn't winning at the same time so that we could put the Scum in the relegation zone!

Re: January Transfer window
Anyone else find it odd that in a transfer window where we progressed in two cup competitions, netting significant extra income and ensuring a very crowded fixture schedule for the next couple of months, we ended up with a smaller squad than we started with? Of course Martinez and McAleny might tur...

Re: Wembley Squared
Just Luton or Yeovil, followed by Wycombe or Coventry if we get to the final. Might as well clear room in the cabinet right now!OUFC4eva wrote:Another £50,000 prize money earned tonight

Re: F.A.Cup Day!
A slightly flattering scoreline, in that they were completely unable to take their chances and we buried all of ours, but not an undeserved win by any means.
Can't wait to see who we get in the draw now!

Re: Chairman's Programme Notes v Scunthorpe
Silly of Oxvox in my not-very-humble opinion - they are supposed to be the voice of fans, not the voice of Kassam and the Council. If I were Eales, I'd take my money and walk, because from long experience, once developers have got their claws into council officials and the brown paper bags and BMW k...

I hope the Ultras are practising their "olé" in preparation!
Re: Ball #32
Newcastle it is - a less than convincing 3-1 win. Eminently beatable at our place, I think
Re: Hands up!
One man's "virtue signalling" is another man's "principled opposition"! I'll remind you of that next time I say MK Dons = Arsenal...... If fans turned up in huge numbers once the unwanted academies weren't in it, would that not also send the same message? Otherwise the...

I'm not an expert on football supporter virtue signalling, but if the Swans go out and there are no 'academy' teams left, does it become OK to support the Us in the Trophy?

We should rename this thread 'where do you live?' It says something about the make-up of this board's contributors that no-one has wished for a home game yet! Parochialism aside, I'd love to visit a 'great' ground I've not been to before. Goodison would have been top of my list, but since Everton l...
