And do the answers to (iii) and (iv) have to be spot on, or are you allowing some margin for error?

Re:

How about for an evening league (League) match. Last time we went to Slumdon mid-week, presumably. I don't ever rememebr us taking fewer than 2,000 there. Except for that ZDS match. As for Friday's game, I pretty much share Radley Rambler's views, except I think he is kind on the defence as a whole...

And since our unbeaten run is still going strong, I might as well start the ball rolling with my default 'lucky' prediction:

Re:

It all depends on results I suppose. FGR on a Friday night would not normally drag a big crowd out but because we are top of the league then we will take 800 or so. When you think that we are taking between 500 and 2000 supporters to our away games (even the midweek ones) then those games will inev...

Re:

Just found videos of the goals last night. Brevett was slightly more at fault than Willmott for the first. Gilly at fault for the second (and Turley for staying put). Both penalties awarded to us were correct decisions. I haven't found a video of the Brevett penalty not given yet, but I'm sure that...

Re: Alas poor York

Onto Southport. I reckon we'll get 4. At least. Well, Res Ox, you were right. You got your 4 goals. Seriously, I'm very relieved not to have lost our unbeaten record there. Shame we didn't manage a goal from open play despite 71% of the possession (according to BBC website), but still unbeaten and ...

Re: Alas poor York

Scaredy cat. Re read what you've just posted. They are the 'two worst teams in the Conference'. Worse than Stafford. Worse than Northwich. Don't get me wrong. I don't think we're going to slip up in these games. It's just that historically we have a habit of losing to crap teams when we're doing we...

Re:

I wouldn't mind betting that Stafford won't be the last time this season that we outnumber the home support. We didn't quite manage it at Stafford though, did we? I reckon we've got a fair chance at Forest Green - we should take over a thousand, bearing in mind how close it is and how well we're do...

Re: Alas poor York

Onto Southport. I reckon we'll get 4. At least. I hope the players are less complacent than you. I'm still haunted by omens from 12 years ago. Newly relegated team, unbeaten start, top of the league. Then came October, we lost to the worst team in the division, and things went downhill rapidly. Our...

Re:

I don’t think that Ian Atkins was/is an idiot, he’s just on the poor side at getting the best out of his many club owners. The man could have gone further in football management than currently being at Torquay if he’d learnt his lessons earlier, imho. But that's the point. He's learnt nothing. The ...

Re:

Finally, let’s not forget that under Ian Atkins we were top of the league and we’d only lost one game by the end of December 2003. The capitulation that followed, however, was because we had an idiot as manager who was never going to be able to turn it around when our string of (often very fortunat...
