Re: La Coupe Du Monde

I thought Oscar was the stand-out player who dragged Brazil through that game. They could consider bringing in Bernard instead of Hulk for their next match. Modric was the biggest threat for Croatia and could have a lot of joy against Mexico and Cameroon.

Re: incoing players rumours

Anyway, Yellows Forum are talking about Westcarr (someone I mentioned at the start of the Summer following his release from Notts County) and that would send me into ecstasy. Westcarr has never been particularly prolific, but was on good form last season with 14 league goals from 41 appearances at ...

Re: incoing players rumours

Stuart Beavon is 30, and many on here were saying Beano was too old at 29. Since he made the Football League, he has hardly set the world alight, Preston scoring only 10 goals in the one season for Preston despite playing 41 times, and 115 appearances scoring 28 goals at this level for Wycombe. Tho...

Re: Kick It Out

Next thing we'll be signing that murderer again as goalkeeping cover. Sorry, which goalkeeper have we signed that's been prosecuted for murder? This one below, not prosecuted for murder, but as bad as murder in my book. I guess the parents of the two young children who were killed on the M6 by Luke...

Re: incoing players rumours

Odd how the article says "Oxford" in the title, but only "a League Two club" in the text below. These were the strike rates of the main strikers last season in league matches only: Connolly - 229 mins/goal [includes both Pompey and OUFC record] total 8 goals Smalley - 287 mins/go...

Re: incoing players rumours

I saw the post on these message boards in another thread previously referring to Stuart Beavon. Kaid Mohamed was also mentioned in that post.

Re: Tinkerman

With regards to building a team and knowing whom we want, this quote from GW fills me with no confidence at all: “There are a lot of good players out there who are going to be out of contract. We will be able to pick up a couple of them, I’m sure". Since GW arrived there hasn't been a single i...

Re: James Constable

The next few weeks are crucial. We have to make some good signings now. Not big-money signings, not big names, just solid, promising talent whose careers are on an upward trajectory rather than heading the other way. Scott Boden, a 24 year old striker appears to be out of contract at the end of nex...

I hope this was held at McDonald's to be in line with the need to make savings and as an appropriate venue to match the end of season form.

One does wonder if the plumbing from the urinals simply winds back round to behind the counter where one of Ka$$am's minions is busy re-filling the £5 micro-bottles retrieved from the bins.
