Re:

I've throughly enjoyed it - I've been to more away games than home games though and I've generally seen us win which makes a big difference. A lot of the away games feel like FA Cup 1st round matches, especially as we are the biggest side in the division and the danger is if we stay down next seaso...

I have voted &quotyes&quot as this has been my first season (and poss only ever season) where, come 3pm on sat, I will have been to every single league away game. Every bloody ground in the division. And it has been wonderful. And cheap! The only time I have ever paid over £13 is when I had ...

Two wins from the last eight, indeed.

What was that? A Stevenage win this evening? Well I never...!

Re:

Stevenage - 80 points (I can't see them losing a game between now and the end of the season) Why? Because they play R&ampD at home and I'd have them down to win that. Then Exeter at home. Probably a draw. Then NV and Halifax (granted, both away) but they should win both of these if the play-off...

Here is how I think it will finish: Oxford - 82 points Stevenage - 80 points (I can't see them losing a game between now and the end of the season) Stevenage worry me. i think they are the best team in the league on their day. Is that the same Stevenage that have lost at home to Alty and Kiddie rec...

interesting read, that. out of choice, I would like the 2nd leg to be in the evening at 8pm unless it is away from home when travelling will be easier on the Monday (yes, BH traffic, but no work to avoid!) also interesting that a min of 10% of the ground has be given to away supporters. One would im...

Nervous

I have been trying to avoid it for weeks. I know supporting Oxford never has any certainty to it and I have tried avoiding thinking about the play-offs for the past 4 or 5 weeks but now it is here. And it has started to creep into my mind and wiggle about in the way that &quotthing-that-make-you...

Slimmy toad. I am afraid I have to sink so low. Actually he is a fine chap who has excellent contacts. Gets cup final tickets every year. And is one of only two people I have met who were at the World Cup Final in 1966. i know one person, who shall remain nameless, who posts on this board whose par...

Performance- who gives a toss? Not me, sir. Today we played an away game vs. the bottom of the table team. It felt like one of those games that if we'd have scored in the first 10 mins, then we'd have put six past them (see my 'hat' prediction!). As it was we (literally) walked past them in the 2nd...

Re:

The few people I know who have been to St Albans' ground assure me it's one of life's more depressing experiences, combining a mixture of the worst ground in the world with locals with neo-nazi tendencies. good job the ground is near the station, and the station is 20 mins from Kings X Thames Link....
