Re: Where will we finish 2019/20?

I think we’ll finish around 10th but after flirting with rhe playoffs rather than the relegation zone. Get a really good striker in and we could do better than that. No idea about the stadium!

Re: Why?te

Yes I’m gutted! Though he is arguably too good for our level. Will cheer up if we get three exciting players in this week

Well, he hasn’t gone yet, and we don’t know the fee. But looks like he’s going

Re: Summer transfers 2019

I rather wish we’d just sign a couple of good sturdy lads from Crewe or Wycombe, never mind all these top targets

Re: Summer transfers 2019

I guess Wolves can afford to keep him in the reserves for a couple of years to see if he turns out good. Maybe they’ll loan him back to us!

Re: Stadium (again) - fans forum

Yes agree with that. Just not bloody Bicester! It’s half way to MK Dons and I dont want to be an adjunct of Bicester Village. And not Witney either, it’s half way to Slumdon and deserves its own team.

Football is a game of fine margins, Brian. Mighty Mansfield obviously felt they had been humbled

Re: You're winding me up!

βasham scored twice aɡainst us before half time in our home ɡame, then was taken off to a handsome ovation from our fans. That game seemed a real low point, but wasn't long before Wembley!

Re: Chris Wilder

I think he must have changed his style and developed his thinking after leaving us. I couldn't imagine him even winning Div 4 so impressively with us, and I don't think it was just about the money (were NTFC rich?). He got us out of the Conference and made us a solid Div 4 side but our overall play ...

He’s a proper old skool tight lipped supremo and professional Yorkshireman, isn’t he? Done fantastically well since leaving us. But - Smalley on the wing ...

Re: WhyCom-plain

In terms of direction though we’re going the right way. The season hinges on that Luton fiasco, since when we’ve been a reasonable mid table sort of side

Re: WhyCom-plain

Assuming we finish reasonably strongly it would be very harsh to sack Robinson. Since Luton he’s got the majority of things right and if it wasn’t for the terrible Christmas we’d be toying with a pretend challenge for the playoffs. Stadium funding is a totally separate issue.
