Re: Freefall
Hah, the title of this thread is quite amusing in retrospect. Hard to imagine what I felt like just a month ago!
Re: Freefall
That was definitely a lot better. Wimbledon were appalling (looked a league below us), but we took advantage and played well. If we can avoid losing at Ipswich, then we've got half a chance of challenging for the top 6 again given the fixtures that follow.
Re: Freefall
It is disappointing though, because we genuinely looked a very good side around October/November. But now we are struggling to win at all, and shouldn't have against Blackpool (nine times out of ten they'd have scored that equaliser in injury time). I know we have a lot of games coming up, but tbh i...
Freefall
What is going on? So good in 2019, but now it looks like we're back to our 2018 form. Depressing given we were looking so good before that we'd been talked about as favourites (even if that was laughable even at the time). I even had a glance to see how we look compared to the relegation zone - shou...

Re: Where are they now?
Mansfield have a fair bit of money, don't they? They sacked their previous manager for not getting promoted last season, so have high expectations too.

Re: Play up Pompey
Anybody got any theory why crowds are so low this season? Oxford are being noticed this season. People at work who don't support them are talking about them, which you'd think would translate to irregular supporters being more interested in seeing them.

Re: Have I Got Old News For You
I have memories of an outfield player in goal for us against Shrewsbury at Gay Meadow once - can't for the life of me remember who it was.
Re: Cup draw
Everton and Colchester the only two of the quarter-finalists not to have won this competition before.
Re: Cup draw
Yeah, we were probably second best overall, and Sunderland should have had a penalty late on, but then again it's also true that Sunderland scored from their only shot on target. Anyway a great night (though I hate watching penalties!) Fosu is indeed incredibly skillful and effective - why did Charl...

Re: Wirral Oxford
And I also think its a absolute joke that other teams have had a free hit at Bolton before last night - the team last night was much better than the bunch of kids they have been putting our making a mockery of the league. Of course, we then had the luck of encountering Lincoln after the Cowleys lef...

It's nailed on that Evans comes on and scores Fleetwood's winner in this game, isn't it? (Hope not...
