Odd Odds
I just popped onto Betfair to check on some winnings and thought I'd check out the odds for Oxford to win League One this year. 15-1 :O Fifteen to one! Now I'm a pretty optimistic fan, but clearly the wider betting public is more optimistic than me. Those aren't the odds to get promoted - that's to ...

Re: England vs The Lower Leagues
I described the Slovakia game on facebook as "the most one-sided nil-nil draw in history"
Of course, this stupid system where the third best team goes through didn't help - Slovakia only needed a point and played like it

Re: Summer days
Sheffield Utd is more logical, though it seems strange that he was so desperate to get out of Northampton as soon as the season finished. Maybe he knows something we don't about their current situation. I think if the club you were a fan of as a boy, and a player for as a pro, puts you on a shortli...

Re: Sweet Caroline
I had to go out when it was 0-0 after 30 minutes, and didn't manage to catch up until the last fifteen. Thankfully Five Live were doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the situation, so my nerves weren't too frayed... A well-deserved result for a team that has been pure class all season. I gues...

Re: Is anyone else.....
If we were going to bottle it, Carlisle away would have been the place. All the pressure's on Bristol now (despite Clarke's hilarious claim otherwise and we've had good form all season long.

Re: Let's face it...
Well I'm pretty sure Plymouth losing to the Daggers wasn't on anyone's prediction list! We still have to win it all to be sure, but at least the 'crazy scoreline' scenario is now off the table. With Bristol still to play two already relegated teams we can't let ou foot off the gas, but after today's...

Re: Let's face it...
I think given our track record of failing to close out the business end of a season, a little nervousness is understandable.YF Dan wrote:It was only two tricky games ago we demolished Crawley and everyone was confident. That's where we need to get back to.

...it wouldn't be us if we romped home with several games to spare.
At least the goal difference makes it (bar some freak results) a straight shoot-out and it's still in our hands.

Re: SmileyMan's Run-In Numbers Thread
Thank you so much for this... I am something of a statto, so this is great! Should the D&R games played not now read '37''? And have you considered in the relegation discussion that you might need fewer than 57 points, because lower-placed clubs have to play each other? Mind you, unless you hav...
