Re: Bolton Bury'd

I won't start a rant about how this is essentially the fault of the football authorities, fit and proper persons, etc., because I know we'd all agree. It's just very sad.

Re: Summer transfers 2019

I don't know how we have ended up without key players, but I doubt it is lack of trying. For example, both Cadden and Browne appeared happy to move to the club, and their current club agreed the deal. Then they got a better offer from elsewhere. Re: Ched Evans

Professional footballers will be at different points on the scale between 'absolute gent' and 'scumbag' in how they treat women. It is probably the case that some current OUFC players are closer to 'scumbag' than I would like. However, what distinguishes the Evans case is that we know about what he ...

Re: Tsun Dai

I follow the line of argument.
However, I would have thought that in a Black Country context it was not worth taking such small items to a laundry for processing.

It's crystal clear that KR knows he needs at least one first-choice centre back.

Re: Boot Table 2018/19

What an honour! After thanking everyone (and especially our cat) in my gracious victory speech, I have come back down to earth.

Could a previous potholder tell me what the Bootmeister actually does, please?

Re: Latic Intolerance

Very good performance, and time, I think, to give KR great credit for turning things around. Those who refuse to acknowledge what he has done are being vindictive, in my view. Looking back, I think the team has always played for the manager, with the possible exception of the bizarre home game again...
