Re: Trouble with a drunk coach
I wonder how much all these issues with iFollow are costing lower league clubs? I've yet to part with any money to use it (if I'm that fussed about a game, I'll find a way to listen to Radio Oxford), but the longer we go without supporters being allowed in, the more I'd possibly consider it. Howeve...

Re: Trouble with a drunk coach
I too had problems with ifollow. The video wouldn't load using Chrome, and although it worked in Firefox it then froze whenever I tried switching to 'away' audio. It all worked ok on the ios app, but then the picture wouldn't connect to my TV using hdmi (only the audio). So I ended up back with the ...

Re: L'éléphant dans la pièce
I think we sold a fair number of season tickets. My feeling is around the 3,000 mark. Given normal crowds of 6,000+, and with walk up tickets costing a lot more than season tickets, well over half of our biggest source of revenue has disappeared. Yes and no. I'm not an ST holder, and probably norma...

No. I thought you'd just neglected to pluralise the noun and agree the adjective (les chats noirs)!OtmoorYellow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 10:41 am Qu'est-ce que c'est??
You realise it is a play on words re the Paris entertainment venue of the Victorian era?

Re: Les Chat Noir
The first half was very scrappy. Neither team seemed to be able to cope with the gusting wind, and the ball was rarely on the floor. What alarmed me was the number of times Sunderland got the ball crossed into our box from wide. I like Sam Long but he looked very out of place at left back on Saturda...
Cup out
Bit of a sickener last night. I just knew that we would regret missing all those chances in the first half, but for Watford to leave it so late, and then completely annihilate us at penalties, was grim viewing. Still, at least we showed that we can play more incisive football than we did on Saturday...

Re: Implosion!
I think Atkinson was lucky to get his red card overturned. It looked to me like he went in recklessly, and was on a yellow card I thought. Yes I was surprised about that. Not that I thought it was a red card challenge, just that given the way he went in with one foot raised I never thought an appea...

Re: Implosion!
The worry for me was that the most disappointing performances came from our new players. I was excited to see McGuane after pre-season reports, but he did next to nothing all game. Atkinson's runs forward were probably the most incisive aspect of our play, but he gave the ball away for the first goa...

Justin Horton remembers a game being blown for time four minutes early. (TL,DR OUFC 0 : Watford 4) https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/09/in-which-matches-have-whistle-happy-referees-blown-for-time-too-early An article about the aforementioned Mr Ed. Still political then! http://www.sprag...

Re: New kit
Slightly odd to have an away kit that won’t be suitable to wear against most opponents that our home kit would clash with!OtmoorYellow wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 2:57 am Waiting for the away kit design.
Home kit is nothing special.

Re: Every game live on Sky
Slightly misleading headline to this topic isn't it? According to today's Oxford Mail article, iFollow will be streaming all matches that are not shown on Sky for a tenner a pop, (with ST holders getting home games free). https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/18676641.fans-can-stream-oxford-united-matc...
